As you scroll through, you might be wondering what exactly I mean by “winter{ish}”, so let me explain! The morning we met for Nick and Alyssa’s engagement session was the coldest and windiest day we’ve had this year. The snow began to fall and we lost all feeling in our fingers and toes. We powered through and got amazing pictures as a result, but when we ventured back to our cars {and headed immediately to get hot chocolate}, I realized that we only shot for 30 minutes. That just isn’t the experience that I wanted them to hold onto as their one and only engagement session!

Seeing that the weather was going to look DRASTICALLY different the next weekend, I reached out and asked if they would like a little addendum to their original session. I’m so happy that they said YES! {I think it was probably a yes from Nick because he just wants Alyssa to be happy, and I’m totally here for that reasoning}
