It was Saturday, June 16th, and early in the morning I sent my husband, Dustin, and two daughters on their way {over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house they went}. I was feeling mixed emotions this morning as I geared up to spend my first night away from my youngest daughter, who will be two years old in October, and simultaneously geared up {quite literally} for Pavol and Tiffany’s ethereal wedding day at The Morris Estate in Niles, MI. Dustin was heading to watch two of our amazing friends get married in Detroit {congratulations Kevin and Lauren! xoxo} and let me tell you, it was hard not to be there but I truly wouldn’t have traded places. Pavol and Tiffany’s wedding was such a dream and they’re the most fun loving and kind hearted couple that I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else.
When my second shooter, Melissa, arrived to my house I was still processing the idea of getting a solid and uninterrupted nights sleep that I had barely even noticed that it had started POURING outside. We checked the radar and decided we couldn’t really do anything about it either way, but it seemed promising that the rain would stop shortly. The Morris Estate is a nearly 2 hour drive from Grand Rapids and it poured our entire drive there. THE ENTIRE TIME. That is, until we got to Niles. The skies cleared. The rain stopped. The sun emerged! If that’s not a sign from the heavens I am not entirely sure what is.
Pavol and Tiffany {ok, I’m going to go out on a leap here and say it was probably mostly Tiffany} have impeccable taste. All of the littlest details were accounted for in the most fresh and crisp ways. From the all white invitation suite to the decadent gold chargers at the reception, this wedding screamed elegance. The first look was intimate and romantic and the ceremony was full of love and laughter {and adorable little children}. It was all so perfectly orchestrated and I don’t know if there’s anything anyone would have changed. Well, I take that back, it was 95 degrees outside, so maybe a temperature drop, but let’s not get greedy here!
Pavol and Tiffany,
You’re an incredible couple and it was extremely evident that I am not the only person who thinks so. Thank you for asking me to be a part of this celebration with you. I look forward to watching your love bloom and evolve. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Fabian!
